# ExistentGameModeBase

## Overview

This class extends the GameModeBase of unreal engine. Its main purpose is to set the player pawn classes of each HMD equipped player as they connect to the session. If you need each player to be represented by a different pawn this is a quick and easy way to do it.

## How to use

Add the desired pawn names to the “Existent Player Pawn Classes” Map, which can be found by opening the ExistentGameModeBase Blueprint, under the Classes section. The name key is used to identify the class in the inspection panel should you wish to change a players pawn class during a session.

If more players join than there are entries in the map then the ‘extra’ players will spawn as whatever is set as the default pawn class.
