Overview of the grip edit mode interface
Interface overview
When you enter grip edit mode a few things happen.
A preview mesh gets spawned.
The hand bones and the component transform are drawn in the viewport
The details panel changes to present the grip edit mode tools instead of the grip component properties.
The tools in the details panel are broken down into Options, Pose Edits and Operations.
The Options category contains all the properties that will control how and what gets drawn in the viewport, these properties are not permanently saved and will reset next time you restart the editor.
The Pose Edits category contains all the functionalities that let you manipulate the pose of the preview mesh.
The Operations category contains all the functionalities that let you interact with the edit mode and pose being edited.
